It seems that most newb...Did you every try a wrap? It seems that most newborns prefer a wrap. Both my boys loved the Moby wrap for the newborn stage. Then when we got the hang of nursing, we moved on to nursing to sleep in the sling. Not exactly hands-free with the sling, but I was able to get things done one-handed. I could only get him in it if he was sleepy and even then half the time he'd kick and scream and want out! I gave up.
